Conference "nachhaltig Nachhaltig"
On September 19, 2023, the Lower Franconia District Association of the VDI in cooperation with the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences (THWS) will organize a one-day conference on the topic of sustainability in the context of the European Mobility Week 2023. Under the motto "sustainably sustainable!", the event aims to present the current state of CO2-neutral technologies far away from political debates. The target groups are employees from companies, research institutes and interested parties from the Main-Franconia region and beyond who are involved in environmentally friendly technologies and methods. The exchange between developers and users of sustainable systems is the focus.
During the conference, the concept of sustainability will be considered from different perspectives. Manufacturers of energy technology systems, planners, energy suppliers and scientific institutes will present their views and approaches to solutions. An accompanying exhibition will provide insight into the latest sustainable technology solutions.
The morning will be dedicated to the topic of "Technological Applications" and will look at both the stationary industrial sector and mobile applications. The afternoon will focus on the infrastructure for these two areas of application.
